The smart embryo incubator, or Embroscope, is equipped with surveillance cameras that capture regular photos of the embryos during their development stages in the IVF laboratory. These images are stored in a computer, and artificial intelligence studies these images and gives a score to each embryo, allowing embryologists to select the best embryos at the time of transfer.
This incubator also ensures an ideal quality of the embryos by providing stable culture conditions. The embryos are not removed from the incubator throughout their stay in the laboratory, so the temperature and gas concentrations remain constant. Finally, this incubator ensures complete transparency in the IVF laboratory as the couple can get a full video of the development of all their embryos.
