Embryo Freezing
One of the most important complications in IVF is multiple pregnancy which presents a very high risk on the mother and fetuses. To avoid multiple pregnancy only one or two embryos should be transferred to the uterus. Supernumerary embryos can be frozen and used in case of failure or for future pregnancies. Embryo freezing is a very widely used technique in Azoury IVF Clinic laboratory since not only supernumerary embryos are frozen but the indications of freeze all embryos strategy are increasing. 70% of the transfers in our clinic are frozen embryo transfers. Embryo freezing and thawing are very safe and do not affect embryo quality. Embryo survival rate is around 98%.
Azoury IVF Clinic is happy to announce that it is the first clinic in Lebanon to be granted with the “Best Practice Recognition in egg and embryo Vitrification 2024 Award”.
