Microfluidics Sperm Selection (Zymot)
Recent research has shown that high sperm DNA fragmentation can lead to early pregnancy loss and repetitive IVF failure. Smoking is one of the major causes of high sperm DNA fragmentation but it is not the only reason. Vitamins and antioxidants have been proposed as a solution for sperm DNA fragmentation but until now their efficiency is very limited. The new Microfluidics sperm selection (Zymot) technology has been shown to be very efficient in separating normal sperm from sperm with fragmented DNA and is used as a sperm preparation technique before performing IVF or ICSI. This technology is now available in Azoury IVF Clinic.
